Boom Reels

The storage of Oil Containment Boom on reels not only protects the boom from physical damage but allows for rapid deployment and recovery in the event of a spill.
Boom Reels are manufactured to suit each application ie: the size and length of your specific type of boom. Some of the larger reels hold in excess of 500 metres of boom.
The most suitable types of boom that can be stored on a reel are Fence Boom, Air Boom, Self Inflating Boom and Tidal Boom.
Boom Reels are operated manually, electrically or most commonly from a diesel driven hydraulic power pack.
Boom Reels are manufactured in high density polyethylene (small & manual rewind), painted steel, galvanized steel, aluminium and stainless steel.
