Drum bunds

The need to store drums while you move locations or if you have won a short term contract and the site has no permanent bunding, is a common issue. That is why we have a fleet of different bunds for hire.

Our most common bund is the DB4. It takes 4 x 205L drums. The drums sit directly on the deck of the bund or place drums on a wooden pallet which in turn is stored on the bund. With convenient forklift channels, this bund is easily moved by hand pallet trolley, walkie stacker or forklift.

Another bund in the hire fleet is the DB6. It stores 6 x 205L drums on a low profile bund. The bund is only 14cm off the ground. It cant be moved via forklift.

Consideration should be made for the ingress of rain water into the bund if stored outside. A cover or keeping the units out of the rain should be planned for. Also it would be prudent to hire or buy spill kits and absorbents in case a spill occurs.

Rates 
DB4 bunds are charged at a rate that depends on the length of hire. Very short term hires are $20 + GST per day plus delivery and pickup but lower rates can be negotiated for longer terms.

A cleaning and/or a repair charge will be included if items are returned in a poor state.
