The spill was eminating from a sea container and was dispersed by forklift traffic and rain. Global Peat was used to absorb the spill. The Global Peat absorbs the oil spill but does not absorb the rain water. The peat was swept up with hard bristle brooms and stored in disposal bags for collection the next day.

The spill entered the pond via storm water drains. The reeds prevented the tight containment by oil booms that would be the normal cleanup procedure. Global Peat was spreed onto the spill and then recovered using pool scoops and sucker trucks.

This video is part of a much larger spill that entered this area via storm water drains. The spill was contained in this drain area by absorbent booms and by building a dam with under flow pipes in it. The cleanup was achieved using a variety of methods including the use of a Manta Ray skimmer attached to a sucker truck.

This Spill Vac is the 170 litre version. It was part of a spill trailer set up with its own compressor. The video shows how powerful the unit is. The water (used for demo purposes) is removed so well that the concrete is left virtually dry.

This video shows an earlier version of the 8T filter crusher. Some small improvements have taken place but the resulting result is the same.
