Application: The Manta Ray rigid oil skimmer is best suited to calm waters where there are no short period waves, but where debris is present.

 

• Suction Skimmers operate like a household vacuum cleaner.
• Top opens to clean debris from suction port.
• Oil is sucked off the surface of the water and pumped into storage tanks.
• Suction can be created by attaching directly to a vacuum tanker or via a transfer pump (recommend spate pump).
• Vulnerable to debris.
• Recovers large volumes of water so best to bleed back from recovery tank.
• Two Sizes: ½" and 1" Suction Port Opening x 56" diameter.
• Hose Coupling: 3" male quick coupling standard.
• Capacity at 15" hg vacuum: ½" 227 l/pm, 1" 454 l/pm.
• Includes hose float and 2 metres of hose and couplings.
